Doll Crib-Cradle

This cradle goes back several generations with the family. Last used in the 60’s. Over the years the standards of safety have changed; finishes and design being some of the biggest. Thus, causing many such items to, at best, become decorative pieces or worse yet discarded as unusable. First, we stripped off many layers of lead-based paint. Then we added additional spindles and a solid bottom for increased safety. Finally, we applied a white tinted lacquer with a clear coat on top to provide a long lasting finish. We gave them back a cradle that has served the family for many decades and will be suitable for many more to come.
