Church Pews

We had the honor of refinishing the pews and doors for St. Patrick’s Church in the Tipp Hill neighborhood of Syracuse. This was a once in a generation undertaking, we were proud to be chosen for the project. We began by removing and transporting over 100 separate pieces to our shop, more the 3 tractor trailers were used. Once back at our shop, we began the task of repairing and refinishing in excess of 1000 feet of pews. Repairs ranged from simple splits in the wood to replacing major portions of the support legs. Each pew was stripped, sanded and stained by hand, giving them the same attention to detail as every piece we do. Once it came time for finish, as with all our projects, we applied our 5 coats of finish for long lasting beauty.
